It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julian Cruz of Galveston, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartolo Cruz and Guadalupe Cruz; his wife Irene Cruz; and his siblings, Santos Cruz, Raul Cruz, Geralda Figueroa, Natalie Sendejas and Antonia Garza.
He is survived by: his children, Juliet Cruz, Lawrence Cruz (Rose Cruz) and Loretta Gomez (Maclovio Gomez); his siblings, Felix Cruz, Rosalinda Agular and Gloria Santos; his grandchildren, Jasmin (Jon Deshane), Ryan J. Cruz, Michael Cruz, Christopher Gomez (Kayla Gomez) and Melissa Gomez; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Felicity and Lucas.
