We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Jo Ann Cote (Galveston, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jo Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jo Ann. Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Friedman Kelly of Saginaw and Joe Wayne Kelly of Harlem, Kentucky.; and her husband Dan Cote. She is survived by: her children, Dan Cote, Jr. (Katrina) of Alton, Illinois, David Cote (Donna) of College Station, Texas, Kelly Schacherl (Richard) of Flatonia, Texas, Bridget Valdez (Lucio) of Ingram, Texas and Meghan Taylor (Rob) of Key West, Florida. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
