It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marie Merchant of Galveston, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dietzler and Mary Dietzler; and her husband John C. Merchant. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Richburg (Ron), Suzanne Nickel (Brian "Nick"), Patrick Merchant (Kelli) and Brian Merchant (Stacey); her grandchildren, Reagan, Bridget, Nicole, Kayla, Luke, William, Weston, Audrey, John, Collin and Reese; and her brother Paul Dietzler (Sylvia).
