He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Kilroy and Olive Kilroy; his wife Helen; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his son Keith. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and his sister and brother and their spouses and children.

Jim was the Mark Kilroy Foundation president and chairman of the board from 1989 until his sudden and unexpected death.
