Geraldine Faye Nelson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Faye Nelson in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Nelson; her parents, John Clinton Warmath and Flora May "Valery" Warmath; her siblings, Buford Bratton, Jack Bratton, Alfred Bratton and Margie Nelson; her granddaughter Chrisie Harrington; and her great grandchild Michaels Nettles.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Nelson Jr. (Trish Gardner), Jerri Lynn Forrest, Janice Ann Hosea (James) and Junior Canales (Belinda); and her grandchildren, Walter Nelson III, Jack Nichols III (Lana), Charles Hill, Kayla, James Hosea, Dewayne Werner, Virginia Nelson, Stephanie Bunyard, Casey Chandler, Amanda Richmond (Chris) and Elliana Gardner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Romayor Cemetery.
