She was predeceased by: her close friend Marvin Pearson; her parents, Ruth Barton and Dalta D. Dennis, Sr.; her siblings, Janie Gates, Faye Dennis and George Dennis; and her son Ricky Barton.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dalta D. Dennis, Jr., John Dennis, Luke Barton, James Barton and Nancy Barton; her son Wayne Barton; her grandchildren, Kathy Barton, Letisha Barton, Beau Barton, Sean Barton, Keith Barton, Kyle Ferrell and Renee Sturgill; her great grandchildren, Joel Honnoll, Gage Barton, Ayden Barton, Ricky James Barton, Alaina Ferrell, William Zinn and Brooklynn Sturgill; and her great great grandchild Amir Barton. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
