He is survived by: his mother Mildred Wilkins (Pickett); his siblings, Tyrone Pickett, Anella Pickett, Tonja Pickett Johnson (Gordon) and Bridgette Wilkins-Fuselier; his stepsiblings, Darrell Wilkins, Regina Wilkins, Barbara Whitfield and Deborah Wilkins; and his caregiver Sonya Johnson (Shirley Sullivan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Memorial Chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary (3828 Avenue O, Galveston, TX 77550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
