He was predeceased by: his grandson Benjamin Thompson; his brother William Atwood; and his parents, Carolyn and Atwood, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Atwood, Carrie Thompson, Timothy Atwood and Thomas Atwood; his children-in-law, Cynthia Atwood, Eric Thompson, Dawn Atwood and Tam Atwood; his grandchildren, Maggie and Sam Thompson; his sister-in-law Gail Atwood; his nephew Matt Atwood; his niece Jill Atwood; and his friend Terry Molloy. He is also survived by married the love of his life, his third wife.
