He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Mae Chandler and Charles Ervin Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Kriste Monsour Garrison; his children, William Garrison of Galveston, Mark Garrison (Heather) of San Antonio, Timothy Garrison of Springfield, Missouri and Deann Garrison of Springfield, Missouri; his granddaughters, Shayla and Fiona Garrison of San Antonio; his brother Robert Garrison (Claudia) of Springfield; and his caregivers, Dr. Brent Masel, Dr. Brent Kelly, Dr. George Carayannopoulos, Dr. Hani Jneid, Dr. Jeremy Carter, Dr. Matt Talbott, Dr. Elizabeth Jaramillo, Dr. Jim Grant, Dr. Loretta Grumbles, Kevin Ozan, Diane Linsicombe and Ethel Luster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (2216 Avenue H, Galveston, TX 77550).
