She was predeceased by: her parents, Clelia Vela Rodriguez and Gregory Rodriguez; and her son Bernardo Soto Ponce III (Amy). She is survived by: her son Brian Ponce (Marbella); her granddaughters, Asia ReAnne Coronado Ponce and Kayla Clelia Ponce; her siblings, Sylvia Sanchez, Angelica Jimenez and Armando Jimenez, Sr.; and her close friend Peter Grasso. She is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews.
