She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Ward and Hazel George Ward; her husband James Edward Hataway; her brothers, Noel and J. L. Ward; her son Wendell Scot Hataway; and her son-in-law Stephen Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Folkman (Doug), Teresa Stone of Lewisville, Sharla Parton (Lonny) of Fort Worth and Cam Hataway (Carla) of Kerens; her sisters, Linda Price and Deborah Dopson of Quitman; and her grandchildren, Charlie Harris (Kim), Brandi Fleming (Robert), Emily Redlinger (A. J.), Kameron Hataway, Alison Tomita (Darryl), Triniti Hataway and Morgan Hataway. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
