With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Leslie Griffin of Galena Park, Texas, born in Pasadena, Texas, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Ruth Blasingame Griffin; and his brother Jerry Lynn Griffin. He is survived by: his father Owen Clarence Griffin, Sr. (Sonny) of Denton; his siblings, Owen Clarence Griffin, Jr. (Elizabeth), Ruth Anne Griffin Garner of Houston, John Hugh Griffin (Sharon) and James Doyle Griffin (Kendra Kay Griffin) of Amarillo; his nieces and nephews, William Gatlin Garner, John Justin Griffin (Peniel Roxas Griffin), Hollyn Elizabeth Griffin Franklin (Conor Bryce Franklin), Caitlin Tyer Griffin, Owen Carpenter Griffin (Nicole Carolyn Griffin), Amanda Elizabeth Griffin and Benjamin James Griffin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Piper Sophia Griffin, Graham Henry Griffin, Ezra Bryce Franklin, Emmalyn Eliza Franklin and Taylor Ruth Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Denton Freedom House, a ministry which Robert supported.
