With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freddy Ray Burnett of Galena Park, Texas, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Burnett and Winnie Burnett; his brothers, Tommy and Gary Burnett; his wife Georgene Adams Burnett; and his daughter Jerri Ellen Torres.
He is survived by: his children, Curt Burnett (Teresa) and Carri Burnett; his son-in-law Daniel Torres; his grandchildren, Daniel Jeremy Torres (Stacie), Lauren Turner (Michael), Tyler Torres (Elisha), Megan Horn (Ben), Trevin Torres (Jordan), Cassidy Mabry (Stephen), Caden Lebedzinski, Taylor Burnett-Harris (Preston), Jordan Burnett and Ethan Burnett; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Carson, Clayton, Amariah, Annaleigh (AJ), Zacharias, Ezra, Calum, Aubrey, Brecken, Kayleigh, Lucy, Allie and Ferris; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Burnett, Jackie Mullinax (Ronnie) and John W. Adams (Peggy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sterling-White Funeral Home & Cemetery (11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX 77562). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the San Jacinto Memorial Park (I-10, Houston, TX 77015).
