He was predeceased by: his wife Bettye Taylor; his parents, John Edward Taylor and Sadie Williamson Taylor; his sister Yonnie Joiner; his niece Shirley Sue Martin; and his nephew Carl Edward Faulkner.
He is survived by: his aunt Eunice Grice; his daughter Vicki; his son-in-law Tom Westbrook; his sons, David Taylor and Mike; his daughter-in-law Vickie Taylor; his grandchildren, Robin Rogers (Jason), Randall Kubin (Samantha) and Nicole Taylor Harvey (Russell); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Johnson, Ivy Kubin, Candise, Irrise and Hazel Harvey; his nieces, Frances Lee Rogers and Brenda Gail Khoury (Nicholas); and his nephew Jerry Faulkner (Patty).
