Ron Underwood Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ron Underwood of Gainesville, Texas, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Underwood and Billye Katherine Whisnand Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Mitzie Underwood; his son Asher Underwood (Melissa Rous-Underwood); his stepchildren, Jodi Fry (Sammy Fry), Kelly Brannan and William Brannan; his grandchildren, Kaya, Coco Underwood, Kaleigh Court (Colton Court), Brady Banks, Braxton Banks, Payton Banks, McKenna Fry and Phoebe Enlow; his great grandchildren, Kali Court, Casey Court and Brynlee Banks; and his brothers, Don Underwood (Bobbi) and Walter Underwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (214 S Denton St, Gainesville, TX 76240).
