With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Chapman Jr. of Gainesville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Chapman Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Chapman and Ruby Chapman (Johnson); his daughter Jennifer Chapman; his siblings, Richard Chapman, Rosa Mohtasham and Judy Phelps; and his parents-in-law, Herschel and Ruth Bullard.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Chapman of Gainesville; his daughters, Tami Henry of Whitesboro and Traci King of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Lauren Johnson (Dakota) of Overbrook, Robert Alvarado (Cassidy) of Sherman and Dalton McConnell of Allen; his great grandchildren, Mia, Micah, Drake, Myla, Marcellus, Madelyn and Paisley; his brother Tom Chapman (Nan) of Arlington; and his brother-in-law Steve Bullard of Gainesville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (900 S Wine St, Gainesville, TX 76240).

“Chapman family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Bob. His joy in the Lord was evident. My first memory of Bob was so many years ago. He led Jim..my first husband, to the Lord. I will see him in Heaven because of Bob. Thankyou Bob, for serving the Lord. See you in Heaven!”
