He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willie, Vashti Bell, George Leonard II and Lucille Leonard; and his brother Randy Leonard.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Leonard (Scott); his daughters, Rachel Pickett (Aaron) and Ashley Bennett (Calvin); his grandchildren, Addysan Pickett, Aidan Pickett, Calvin Bennett Jr. and Teegan Bennett; his parents, George Leonard III and Barbara Broughton; his uncle Billy Bell (Brenda); his cousins, Keith Bell, Jason Bell and Dustin Bell (Suzanne); his nephews, Tim Scott (Stephanie), Major Ryan O. Scott and Ed; his great-nieces, Ellie Akins (Jared), Lily Scott, Sadie Scott, Reagan Bell and Greyson Bell; and also Brooke. He is also survived by wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, two sons-in laws.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
