He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Evans and Alta Evans (Odom); and his brother Roy Evans. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jo Evans (Conners) of Gainesville; his children, Sandra Johnson of Gainesville, Felecia Brewer of Sadler, Joe, Karen Evans of Gainesville, Sarah Evans of Gainesville and Melinda Johnson of Plano; and his siblings, Bonnie Bideganeta, Donna Evans and Jan Cole. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
