He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmidlkofer and Bernadina Schmidlkofer (Neu); and his brothers, Arnold, James and Harry Schmidlkofer.
He is survived by: his son Michael Schmidlkofer (Jackie) of Fort Worth; and his grandchild Lauren Schmidlkofer of Fort Worth.
A rosary was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (825 N Weaver St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A committal service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:45 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (424 Main St, Lindsay, TX 76250).
