In loving memory of Gary Lewis Sr. (Gainesville, Texas), who departed this world on December 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Gary leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Lewis and Pauline Lewis; and his brother Darrell Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Janie Lewis; his children, Gary Dale Lewis, Jr. (Emily), Renee Roessler (Mike), Trini McMeen and Bridget Floyd; and his sister Jean Hines (Danny). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Callisburg Cemetery (380 Kirby St, Callisburg, TX 76240).
