It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Trammell (Gainesville, Texas), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donnie Trammell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Trammell and Katherine Trammell; his brother Jimmy; his sister-in-law Dorthey Trammell; his sister Patsy Hill; his siblings-in-law, Glenda Trammell (Kookie) and Don Evans; and his father-in-law Earl Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Miller; his daughters, Katrina Grewing (Bill) and Melinda Petty (Christopher); his brothers, Larry Trammell (Arlene) and Richard Trammell; his brother-in-law Curtis Hill; his mother-in-law Margaret Mozingo; his siblings-in-law, Kay Evans, Kenneth Corley (Sherry) and Donny Miller (Vickie); his grandchildren, Ashley Akins (TJ), Brooke Green (Eland), Blake James (Amy), Dyllon James (Camryn) and Fallyn Petty; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Braxton Ryder, Easton, Kade, Creed, Sloanne, Bailee, Paisley Ray and Baby James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Callisburg Cemetery (380 Kirby St, Callisburg, TX 76240).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Gainesville Masonic Lodge No. 210 at P. O. Box 519, Gainesville, TX 76240, in his memory.
