She was predeceased by: her former husband Tommy Lynn Hoover, Sr.; her parents, Lloyd Myer Ashlock, Sr. and Wanda Bernice Ashlock (Pugh); and her brothers, Lloyd Myer Ashlock, Jr. and Jerry Ashlock.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky Keith Covington; her siblings, Donnie Ashlock, Dale Ashlock, Wayne Ashlock, Rhonda Jones, Jessie McClure and Tammy Clark; her children, Chester Hoover (Tooter), Tammy Stevens, Tommie Dee Magee (Patrick) and Tommy Hoover, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kenzie Clark, Ray Clark, Cheyenne Hoover, Cloie Underwood, Kalyee Underwood, Noah Magee and Ava Magee. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
