She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Terry and Mattie Terry; her husband J. D. Surratt; her son Michael J. Surratt; her great grandchild Julie Thurman; her brother Bill Terry; her sister-in-law Mary Lynn Terry; her nephew Russell "Rusty" Terry; and her grandson-in-law Joseph Thurman (Joe).
She is survived by: her brother Jerry Terry (Sandra Johnson); her grandchildren, Teri Soldavini, Gina Thurman, Crystal Tuggle and Toby Surratt; and her daughter-in-law Jacquetta Surratt. She is also survived by six great-grandsons, three great-granddaughters and 2 great-great grandchildren.
