With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Herrington of Gainesville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elon Preston Herrington and Nora Lee Craft Herrington; his brother Larry Gene Herrington; his son Mark Gregory Herrington; and his nephew Brad Herrington.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Sue Herrington; his brother Eddie Joe Herrington; and his children, Steve (Rebecca), Jeff, Carrol McKnight (Jerry), Suzan Heydenreich and Sam Clark (Melissa). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (308 E Broadway St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Collinsville Cemetery.
