We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024, at the age of 87, Betty June Mason of Gainesville, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty June Mason to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Lee (Fraley) and Edward James Rains; her husband Johnnie Franklin Mason; her son Johnny F. Mason, Jr.; her siblings, Elizabeth Louise Murray and James Thomas Rains; and her grandson B. J. Powers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Jo Redmon (Allen) of Gainesville and Teresa Mason Seymour (Mark) of Murphy, TX; and her siblings, Loretta Fay Martin of Lewisville and Edward Leon Rains of Springtown. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Resthaven Cemetery (3353 FM 372). During the COVID period, the meetings went to Zoom, and she continued on Zoom for as long as her health allowed.
