She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Burke; and her grandparents, William (Eugene), Frances Swann of Lewisville, Junior Cleveland Burke and Rosie Darby Burke of Mississippi.

She is survived by: her mother Kay Swann Burke; her brothers, Jason (Shelli Burke) and Keith (Lisa Burke); her nephews, Will (Jessica), Hunter, Jonathan and Mason; her niece Victoria; her uncle Larry; and her aunt Elaine Abbott.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Lee Cemetery (996 Co Rd 4700, Winnsboro, TX 75494).

In honor of April's life and legacy, donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in her name. (donation link below).
