He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Smith and Evylon Smith (Greene). He is survived by: his sisters, Sarah Anne Warren (Leon Lemmons) of Rockport, TX., Vickie Lynne Taylor (Roy) of Rockport, TX. and Cathy Lucille Vaughan (Jim) of Cleburne, TX.; his grandson Noah Issac Taylor of Aransas Pass, TX.; and also Ed Steele of Fulton, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current restrictions on gatherings because of the COVID19 virus, a private graveside service, under the directions of Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche, TX, will be held 11 am Saturday May, 2, 2020 TX, with Reverend Bill Lovell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of the givers choice.
