She was predeceased by: her father William Abe Cavin. She is survived by: her mother Lois Iola Lynch Cavin of Ramona, Oklahoma; her former husband William E. James Jr. (Bud); her husband Bud James of Fulshear, Texas; her daughters, Emily Christine James of Fulshear and Laura Ellen Goodman (Karsten Goodman) of Plano, Texas; her brother Don Cavin (Carla Cavin); and her nephew Mike Cavin of Dewey, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Step-by-Step Program at 3813 N Midland Dr, Midland, TX 79707 to the Fairmont Park Church of Christ.
