He is survived by: his significant other Ruth; his daughters, Stephanie and Kimberley; his son-in-law Bill Fleming; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan Fleming and Vietnamese; and his children, Thanh-Van Nguyen, Hang Dong, Trung Van Nguyen, Tin Van Nguyen, Trang Tucker and Tram Brown.
In lieu of flowers, Dennis asked that donations be made to his favorite charity organization, where his eldest daughter improves lives every day, aiding the underprivileged with vision care.
