She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Alexander and Bernice Morgan Alexander; her husband Johnny Harger; her daughter Louella Harger; and her brothers, Roy Alexander and Henry Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, John Harger of Fruitvale, Erwin Harger of Grand Saline, Joyce Brand of Fruitvale, Tracy Gomez of Fruitvale, Sue Nell Harger of Fruitvale and Delois Glidewell of Grand Saline; and her siblings, David "Popcorn" Alexander of Grand Saline, Delois Langston of Grand Saline, Linda Ray of Hawkins and Annie Jones of Fruitvale. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
