She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee Boyd and Zelmar Elizabeth Vaughn; her son Teddy Rowe; and her siblings, Hammy Boyd, Bud Boyd, John Fred Boyd and Evelyn Gorden.

She is survived by: her husband Norris Letaine Dye; her son Steve Rowe; her sister JoAnn Brazel; and her grandchildren, Chris Rowe, Melina Edington, Tracie Rowe, Teresa Rowe, Teddy Row Jr. and Tammie Montgomery. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
