He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Harris and Ina Harris; and his brothers, Kendall Harris, Beverly Harris, Doyle Harris and Don Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Lometa Harris of McKinney, Texas; his children, Weldon "Rick" Harris (Sharon) of Allen, Randall Harris of McKinney, Texas and Rhonda Smith of McKinney, Texas; his grandchildren, Travis Smith (Yumi), Aaron Smith, Jennifer Sharp (Jeremy), Amy Harris and Christopher Harris (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Stella and Ezra Sharp; and his sisters, Helen Conway of Grand Prairie and Bueaton McKinzey of Pantego, Texas.
