Serah Honaker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Serah Honaker of Fritch, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Taylor and Vergie Taylor; her husband Ira F. Honaker; her grandparent Papaw Taylor (Mamaw Taylor); her son Ira A. Honaker; and her siblings, Laverne Pearson, Freda Thurman and Hoyt Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcella Burney of Fritch; her daughter-in-law Traci Honaker of Borger; her grandchildren, Matthew Burney (Priscilla) of Hooks, Kevin Honaker (Laci) of Houston and Kristen Honaker of Austin Texas; her great grandchild Taylor Burney (Tamara) of Bastrop, Texas; her grandchildren, Justin Burney (Whitney) of Westville, Oklahoma, Chance Burney (Ellison) of Durant, Oklahoma, Lincoln Honaker of College Station, Texas, Thomas, Ashley Spikes of Eugene, Oregon, AJ and Cassie Fergason of Cottage Grove, Oregon; and her great great grandchildren, Adalynn Burney, Lainey Burney, Jaxon Burney, Paxton Burney, Lilly James, Amara Spikes, Athena Spikes, Xavier Spikes and Emryn Boitz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Chapel (107 N Hoyne Ave, Fritch, TX 79036). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
