He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Dean Sims and Evelyn Janet Sims. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sims of Frisco, Texas; his brother Stanley Dean Sims of Springfield, Illinois; his stepchildren, Joshua Stolte (Stacey) of Dallas, Ryan Stolte (Terrie) of Denison and Ashley McDonald (Josh); his grandchildren, Madison McDonald, Danny Stolte, Derek Stolte, Colton McDonald, Mia McDonald, Gavin Stolte and Skyler Stolte; his parents-in-law, Kay and John Loucks of McKinney, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Loucks (Judy) of Colton, Oregon and Sandra Nunn of Dallas, Texas..
