He is survived by: his father Cornelio Chavez of Mexico; his wife Dalila Chavez of Frisco, Texas; and his children, Ricardo (Laura Govea), Blanca (Wilbert Goytia), Cynthia (Victor Chavez) and Pedro Chavez Jr. of Frisco, Texas. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, five sisters, six brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
