She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Kern Ackley and Thomas W. Ackley; her son James Thomas Hines; her husband C. C. Permenter (Charles Cecil); her sister Nancy Jean Ackley Crawford; and her brother-in-law Durwood Douglas Crawford.
She is survived by: her friend C. C.; her children, John Vernon Hines (Leslie), Jane Suzanne Hines Stewart and Janise Marie Permenter; her grandchildren, James Thomas Hines (Katy), Stacey Marie Stewart Jordan (Wes), Arthur Anthony Stewart, Jr. (Elizabeth Moore), Brandi Denney Haltom (Elliott) and James Edwards (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Makenzie Jordan, Jacoby Jordan, Bethanie Jordan, Rosalie Jordan, Taylor Denney Moore (Dalton), Skylar Mumm (Micah), Dylan Denney (Hunter), Ethan Haltom (Kaylyn) and Riley Dearman; her great great grandchildren, Chase Mumm, Carter Mumm, Jaxon Dane Moore, Graycen Denney, Dawson Denney, Eli Haltom, Kohen Haltom and Jameson Haltom; her brother William Laning Ackley (Miriam); her brother-in-law Danny Permenter (June); and also Mary Ackley. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
