We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 84, David Ray Blackburn of Frisco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Merrol Blackburn and Irene Mae Weisman; and his brother Johnny Blackburn. He is survived by: his daughter Vivian; his grandchildren, Spiros, Christopher and David; his family North of Texas; his wife Asimina Blackburn of Frisco, Texas; his sons, Spiros Blackburn (Kristen) of Houston, Texas, David Blackburn (Jessica) of Plano, Texas and Christopher Blackburn of Arlington, Texas; his grandchildren, Leo Blackburn, Logan Blackburn, Emily Blackburn, Evie Blackburn and Zoey Blackburn; and his brother Michael Blackburn of Houston, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel (2525 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013). The military honors will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
