It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Anne Powell of Frisco, Texas, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Don; and her husband John Powell. She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Thomas of Denton, Danny Thomas of New Braunfels, TX, Nancy Sutton of Corpus Christi and Patti Babbin of Tyler, Texas; her daughter Janna Powell Braudrick; her son-in-law Wayne Braudrick; and her grandchildren, Jessica Braudrick Anders of Little Elm, Michael Wayne Braudrick of Frisco and Benjamin Powell Braudrick of Frisco, Texas.. She is also survived by her mother and siblings.

Much to Carolyn's delight, they again relocated to Houston, where she joined the staff of the Houston Foundation.
