He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Washington and Bernard Harris. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Washington; his children, Bernard Y-W., Jarbari Bernard W. and LaTasha (Frank); his grandson Jamarquis; and his sisters, Peggy Mitchum (Bernard), Lavonnia Middleton (Cookie), Tamara Washington, Cynthia Vanderhurst (Derrick) and Pandora Doctor. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bernard Washington, who valiantly battled cancer, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Donations will support ongoing research and provide assistance to individuals and families affected by this relentless disease.
