She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathai Varghese and Sosamma Varghese. She is survived by: her siblings, Sosamma Alexander, Mathew Kalapurackal, Mariamma Pothen and Vincy Philipose; her children, Rishi and Renee; her husband Dr Sharma; her son-in-law Charlie; and her granddaughter Priya. She is also survived by friends.
