He is survived by: his wife Matilde Rodriguez of Friona; his children, Rolando Caballero of Friona, Rojelio of Hereford, Robert of Hereford, Eloy Caballero of Hereford, Ramiro Caballero II of Killeen and Diane Santellana of Friona; and his siblings, Ricardo Caballero and Hilda Cuellar of Weslaco. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
