With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jane Barnett (Friona, Texas), born in Hereford, Texas, who passed away on April 26, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville McFarland and Irene McFarland; her husband Wesley Barnett; her sisters, Janice McFarland and Gay Clarke; and her sister-in-law Betty Douglas.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lunell Horton of Friona, Texas, John McFarland of Austin, Texas and David McFarland of Smithville, Texas; her sister-in-law Judy Davis of Irving, Texas.; her grandchildren, Morgan Lane, Macy Williams (Harvey), John, Kyle Jr., Delaney, Zach, Emily, Josh, Kendall, Wes, Grace and May; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Claire Lane. She is also survived by her five children, four daughters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Friona United Methodist Choir Fund in memory of Doris Barnett, 301 East 8th Street, Friona Texas 79035.
