She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Virgil Miller and Eva Geraldine Roysden Miller; her husband William Sam Mears; and her siblings, Roy V., Ross, Johnny, Mary Lou and Janice.

She is survived by: her children, Clint Mears of Friona and Sarah Mears Geries (Randy Geries) of Friona; her great grandchild Randy; her children, Mandy (Nathan Rigler), Noah, Nash of Abernathy, Texas and Amy (David Bridges); her grandchildren, Rowyn and Rylee of Carrollton, Texas; her children, Andrea (Rhett King), Ronin, August of Frisco, Texas and Ryan Geries (Lindsey); and her grandchildren, Ethan and Jordan of Plano, Texas..

During the past year, she made baby blankets that were donated to hospitals, churches, and family resource centers.
