He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Brown and Werna Brown; his son Chuck Crutcher; and his great grandchild Isaiah Blasius. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughter Cindy Towsley; his siblings, Carole Glidewell, Henrietta Hill (Tim), Howard "Buck" Brown, Keith Brown (Teresa) and Kevin Brown (Sherri); his grandchildren, Cheryl Blasius (Shannon), Shaye Burleson, Chris Crutcher, Jordan Mooney (Kyle), Brooke Sterling (Billy) and Cheri Roman (Cris); his great grandchildren, Kaelynn, McKenzie, Daylor, Jaden, Jeven, Ariel, Chris Jr., Addilyne, Raigyn, Aralynn, Olivia, Carter and Chandler; and his great great grandchildren, Scarlett and Everly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Elmo Cemetery (11750 Co Rd 352, Terrell, TX 75161). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Muleshoe Senior Center (319 Main St, Muleshoe, TX 79347).
