She is survived by: her husband Daniel; her children, Joshua, Benjamin and Sarah; her parents, Richard Ober and Marilyn Ober; her brother Richard Ober, Jr.; her aunts, Patsy Converse and Pat Howard; her parents-in-law, Greg and Judy Lurvey; her brother-in-law Jeff Lurvey (Sue); and her nieces, Stasya and Sadira Lurvey. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (1804 S Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wendy's name to headforthecure.org for which Wendy participated in a 5K event every year since 2019 or South Lake Church of League City, Texas (southlakelc.org).
