He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Ried and Ethel U. Ried; and his sister Barbara Weekes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; and his children, Robert (Susan) and Sonia (George). He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.
