He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Burkhart and Edna Burkhart; his wife Bonnie Burkhart; his son Evan Burkhart of Cleveland, Texas; his siblings, Joanne Steiner of Bradenton, Florida and Alan Burkhart of Summerville; and his brother-in-law Robert "Rudy" Rudolph of Houston, Texas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
