He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Alcala and Mary Alcala; his wife Beatrice Alcala; his children, Melissa Marie Alcala, Robert Alcala, Dina Stewart (Brad), Annette Lovelace (Steve) and Angela McHugh (Todd); his grandchildren, Brandon Stewart (Jillian), Elizabeth Lovelace, Ty McHugh, Jonathan Alcala, Teresa McHugh, Christopher Lovelace, Tara McHugh, Brittany Lovelace and Jordan Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Makenna Rose Alcala, Melissa Belle Howle, Magelina Marie McHugh, Maddison Amber McDonald, Macy Renee McDonald and Lillian Jo Stewart.
