With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Johnson Elliott of Friendswood, Texas, born in Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Elliott and Rebecca Elliott; his wife Dottie (Dottie); and his sister Jackie Wilson (Elliott). He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Booker (Rand); his son Joseph Cary Elliott (Pam); his sister Nancy Forrest of Hampton, Virginia; his daughters, Susan Elliott Pryor (Mike) and Elizabeth Elliott Vera (Ramon); and his stepchildren, Delinda Lynn, Robert "Bobby" Lewis and Shawn Gruss. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution be made in Joe's memory to the Brookwood Community (brookwoodcommunity.org).
