She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lewis Daniel and Maggie Mae Daniel; and her husband John Emmit Leonard. She is survived by: her children, Wilma Kathryn Smith (Neil S. Smith) and John Daniel Leonard (Teresa June Leonard); her granddaughter Erin Mesloh Nicholson; her son-in-law Keith Allen Nicholson; her granddaughter Adrienne Danielle Burton; her great grandchildren, Ila Madeline Nicholson, Bryce Maxine Nicholson, Amelia Mae Burton, Brooke Nicole Butterfras, Ben John Butterfras and Bree Morgan Butterfras; her sister Glenda Daniel Lee; and her close friends, Jean Foster and Mike Foster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home (311 N Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546).
